WITH the heavy rainfall over winter, chances are your garden fence is looking a little worse for wear.

While some people fork out a small fortune on a jet wash to blast off the algae and green mould on their garden fences and patio, there's no denying it can be both pricey and messy.

But it turns out there's a much cheaper and effective alternative solution that people are raving about - and it's all thanks to a product sold in Wickes.

Tina Whiting took to Facebook page 'Garden Makeover Ideas On A Budget' and penned: "I want to thank the person that said about 'Wet and Forget' - the thought of jet washing and the mess filled me with dread.

"These were taken 3 hours apart, a few areas I need to go over again, but so happy with the results."

She then went on to reveal that she picked up the bargain buy from Wickes for £18 - adding that she found it in the decorating section, not down the gardening aisle.
