ESCAPE to the Country presenter Jules Hudson has revealed he is back filming after taking some time away from TV.

The 54 year old previously revealed that he would be taking a three-month hiatus from the programme after becoming ‘burnt out’.

He has been a familiar face to viewers since joining the BBC series back in 2007.

Jules had explained his reasons for taking a break in a sit-down interview with Lyme Regis and Bridport News.

In the chat, Jules revealed he would be taking on a 12-week furniture-making course in Lyme Regis.

He shared: “Last year, I realised I was quite burnt out and needed a creative and emotional reset.

“My wife said, ‘Why don’t you take some time out and go to the Boat Building Academy?’”

Taking to Instagram, Jules uploaded a video announcing that he is back on the road with the rest of the film crew.

Addressing his 61,000 followers, Jules said it was ‘lovely’ to have the team back together.

He wrote in the post’s caption: “It’s great to be back on the road, Escaping to the Country.

“We have been filming so far in Cornwall and catching up with some old friends!
