This month, we have a series of articles documenting the ongoing, increasing atrocities being committed by the Taliban against Afghan women — including flogging and stoning. Flogging and stoning to death are Islamic Hudud punishments for a specific set of offenses enumerated in the Qur’an. This means that doctrinally speaking, Taliban human rights abuses are neither extremist nor radical, but horrific as they are, instead mainstream, orthodox obedience to the doctrine, laws, and scripture of Islam.

The UN complaint about Sharia and human rights is pointless. The Islamic definition of “human rights” is different than the Western definition. Islam does not acccept the Western definition.

Yes, that is quite correct.Back in the early 2000s, in the wake of the 9-11-01 attacks, the western powers via the UN approached the OIC (Organization of Islamic Conference/Organization of Islamic Cooperation), which is the “UN of the Islamic world,”in a manner of speaking, and asked them to affirm a declaration condemning Islamic terrorism.
The OIC read the report of the UN and in due course replied that they would not affirm it, since a number of its provisions violated sharia law. The conference also refused to call as terrorism any act permitted by sharia.
This is all geopolitical theater anyway. The UN claims it is worried about the rights of women in Afghanistan, but what about the multitudes of women in the West now being victimized by Muslim attackers of various kinds?
The so-called “Free World” should have pulled the plug on the UN years ago, it has become so corrupt and useless.
It bears mentioning that relying on the UN to secure one’s human rights is – for all intents and purposes – a fool’s errand. The UN is selective about whose rights it supports, for one, and for another, the United Nations today has become a corrupt racket which bears little resemblance to the organization founding during/after the Second World War.
Indeed, in the first place, the UN High Commissioner on Refugees (and the bureaucracy attached to the office) are neck-deep in the demographic assault upon the West.
The pipeline varies by country somewhat, but to use the U.S. as an example, the “refugee resettlement racket” begins with the High Commissioner on Refugees, from which it then leads to the U.S. federal government, specifically the Dept. of State, and then to the various non-governmental organizations/charities which serve as the public face of this enormous effort, i.e., the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS), Catholic Charities, and the World Council of Churches, to name three.
In return for a cash payout for each individual “placed” in a new location, these charities then locate individuals and small groups at their final destinations.
This knowledge, much of it at any rate, is known as a result of the intrepid Texas mother/housewife-turned-detective Ann Corcoran, who is also proprietor of the website “Refugee Resettlement Watch.”
Corcoran was just minding her own business when Somalians and other dark-skinned “refugees” from the Islamic world and elsewhere began to appear in her rural area, where none lived previously, no one spoke their language, and there was not even a mosque. At the time, there were insufficient jobs for long-time residents of the area, so why place people there?
And that is how Corcoran and others began uncovering the “Great Replacement,” the demographic assault upon the West being carried out by the ruling elites, who for all-intents-and-purposes have declared war upon their own peoples and civilization.
If the UN is so concerned about the rights of women, then why is it aiding-and-abetting the de facto subjugation of them via the importation of millions of Muslims into the non-Muslim world?
The West/UN cares nothing for women. They are useful pawns for our self destruction with abortion rights and “we are Hamas” nonsense.
It may be of interest to note that at the end of one of the Hamas rape videos of the hostages, there is a woman dressed in a garment consistent with sharia rules for the clothing of slaves. As far as I can recall, this entails the coverage of the body only between the navel and the knee. In this case mid thigh might have been what was available in the shops.
The positioning of the captor’s hand and the slight reaction by the hostage seems to imply that there is some sympathy on behalf of the captor. Perhaps that is reading too much into limited evidence. It is all extremely distressing nevertheless.
