And while Oasis rocker Liam has toned down his lifestyle, that doesn’t mean he no longer likes a trip down the pub.

But it seems the singer will be able to do just that from the comfort of his own home, after building plans for his North London mansion revealed he’s putting in a bar.
Liam has been given the green light by Haringey Council for “new external doors, internal alterations and refurbishment works”, which includes a fancy booze room – complete with a posh bar and stools – next to his living room.
As anyone who has done work on their home knows, it’s always a circus going back and forth with the council.
And restrictions around Liam’s posh neighbourhood are so strict he even had to get permission to install a gas-fired boiler.

I can imagine getting a home boozer approved meant he had to jump through even more hoops.
Liam is way more clean living now, and after having a double hip replacement last year he’s been trying to get back up to fitness.
He said: “You’ve got to undo all the bad work you’ve done through f***ing getting off your head and all that.
“It’s time to undo it all now and get back to reality. All that stuff that you thought was cool in the early days, it’s time to get healthy.”

PET SHOP BOYS TELL TAYLS
NEIL Tennant has revealed the Pet Shop Boys were enlisted to write songs for Madonna and Kylie Minogue – but ended up holding on to the tunes.
At a fan Q and A Neil explained: “We did write some songs for Kylie but one we kept for ourselves, which was Pandemonium.
“We wrote some things for Madonna but they said she was writing an R&B album.
“Having written Heart, we imagined Madonna could sing it but we didn’t offer it.”
The pair, who will release new album Nonetheless on Friday, also told how they are intrigued by Taylor Swift after she broke a load of records with new album, The Tortured Poets Department.
Neil added during the chat in London on Monday: “The charts are all Taylor. She fascinates me as a phenomenon because she is so popular.
“Then I listen to the records and I think ‘Where are the famous songs? What is Taylor Swift’s Billie Jean?’ Shake It Off?
“I even know that is the answer, but I listened to that the other day and it is not Billie Jean, is it?”
It isn’t . . . it’s miles better in my eyes.
Girls get to work
IT seems the Girls Aloud tour is being sponsored by Mercedes – after Cheryl Tweedy, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts, all arrived for rehearsals in identical £50,000 motors.
The trio got to work on their new routines alongside Nadine Coyle at a rehearsal studio in North London today.
The Promise singers hit the road next month for the mammoth UK and Ireland run of gigs, which kick off in Dublin on May 17.
I told yesterday how Girls Aloud had contacted Olly Alexander to join them as a special guest at one of the shows in a bid to give him a lift after the controversy surrounding his Eurovision Song Contest entry.
It appears Olly is a man in demand, as he’s also been booked to appear on EastEnders.
The Years & Years singer will be seen in the Queen Vic as part of a storyline in the coming weeks.

BLUR UP FOR IVOR GONG
AFTER missing out on a Brit Award with most recent album The Ballad Of Darren, Blur are in the running for an Ivor Novello award.
The group, fronted by Damon Albarn, have been nominated for the Best Song, Musically and Lyrically, for the brilliant The Narcissist.

The nod comes 29 years after their first Ivors nomination for Parklife.
Raye and CMAT are both up for Best Album, while Harry Styles, Fred Again, Pink Pantheress and Ice Spice are all in the running for gongs.
The Ivors with Amazon Music takes place on May 23 – and we’ll be there on the day to bring you all the news and gossip.
A WHOLE record of unheard Johnny Cash songs is on the way.
The country legend passed away in 2003 but his estate announced the album, Songwriter, today.
It will be made up of tracks The Man In Black recorded in 1993.
The record has been co-produced by Johnny’s son John and will be out on June 28.
But fans don’t have to wait that long to get the first track.
Well Alright is out now – and it’s as catchy as hell.
NICKI SNIFFS AT DJ CHAT

Capital Breakfast Show DJ Chris Stark revealed the Super Bass singer refused to speak to him until he’d got rid of the smell of his lunch.

He said: “Nicki was running late so I darted to the canteen for some chips and beans.
“A member of Nicki Minaj’s team questioned what I was up to, then asked me to leave.
“I was then told that the interview wouldn’t begin until the smell of chips and beans was removed from the room.
“They had to bring in candles and spray. I wasn’t allowed in until that was properly sorted.”
It’s so painfully awkward but so, so brilliant.
