I transformed my eye-sore garden wall for £30 using buys from The Range & Poundland – people say it now look ‘beautiful’

DO you have a boring brick wall in your garden that's nothing but a total eye-sore?
Well, you may just want to listen up...because one savvy woman has revealed the "genius" way she transformed hers on a budget - using bargain buys from the likes of The Range and Poundland.

Amanda Wylie took to Facebook group Gardening On A Budget Official and shared several photos showing how she updated her red brick wall into a stunning faux mirrored window.
"A real window couldn’t be put back in because the previous owners had insulated the inside of the garage," she explained.
"Wanted to cover the grey bricks, so made a pretend window out of pallets and wood I had."
And it's little surprise gardening fans are praising the DIY project as "brilliant" and "beautiful."

Firstly, she cut some plasterboard into a square shape to replicate the front of the window, and applied it to the centre of the brick wall.
She then attached three individual wooden slat panels on either side to replicate the shutters of the window.

After painting the slats a stunning shade of sage green, she then added a mirror to the centre, along with various eye-catching ornaments.
Amongst them includes a wicker heart, pot hanger decorations, faux flowers and even an adorable metal bee.

Speaking to Fabulous, Amanda revealed: "The mirrors were from The Range, I got the pots from Poundland and Home Bargains.
"The other bits I’ve had for years.

"The wood was a pallet I got free (it came with stones we ordered for our drive). I probably spent around £30, maybe less."
It wasn't long before the post garnered a whopping 4k views and over 300 comments, with many quick to commend Amanda on her very impressive efforts.
