Reddit servers down updates — Thousands of users get ‘502 Bad Gateway error’ message as website and app face outage

THOUSANDS of Reddit users had trouble with the platform in the US and UK.

Over 67,000 Redditors in the US reported issues with the site that started around noon ET, according to Downdetector.

Users in the UK also had trouble as over 15,000 Redditors reported issues.

When trying to access the site, Redditors got a message saying "Oops, something went wrong, please try again later."

Users also reported receiving a 502 Bad Gateway error message.

The issues began to resolve around 1:30 pm ET as Reddit shared on X, "We are now confident all Reddit services are available and stable."
