GEORGE Gilbey died from "traumatic" head injuries after falling 80ft through a skylight on a building job, an inquest heard.
The Gogglebox star, 40, was scaling the roof of a warehouse in Essex without a harness when the tragedy unfolded, pals said.

An inquest heard how George died from traumatic head and torso injuries.
Essex Coroner's Court was told the star, who had a young daughter, fell through a plastic skylight on to the ground below.
A post mortem found his injuries were "consistent with a fall from height".
The full inquest was adjourned while a probe by Essex Police and the Health and Safety Executive continues.

Senior Coroner Lincoln Brookes said: "I ask that my deepest condolences are passed to the friends and family of George Gilbey.”
George was tragically declared dead at the EGL Homecare site in Shoebury, Essex, on March 27.
A colleague arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter has since been released under investigation.
George's death came three years after that of his stepdad Peter McGarry, who starred with him and mum Linda McGarry, 74, on Gogglebox.

Linda hailed her son as a devoted father with "buckets of personality" and explained that he had been trying to "rebuild his life".
She said: "I’m devastated, he was like my best friend.

"He had the best heart in the world. He was generous, funny and kind, with bundles of charm and buckets of personality.

"He was crazy, but after coming out of showbiz, he couldn’t get his life back together. He just couldn’t get over the death of Pete."
George appeared on Gogglebox between 2013 and 2018 with Lindan and Pete.
He starred on Celebrity Big Brother in 2014 where he was in a relationship with fellow housemate Stephanie Pratt.
A GoFundMe set up to pay for George's funeral has so far raised more than £6,650.
