A NEW Yorker shared how she upgraded her apartment living room with a few Amazon buys.
Although she doesn't like the complications of home projects and DIYs, she explained that the transformation is easy.
Jihan (@_lifewithjihan) shared the home transformation in a viral TikTok video.
A set of $25 LED strip lights helped her add light and ambiance to her space.
She pushed her couch aside, making room to add the lights behind her furniture.
"These are super easy to apply and this is coming from someone who does not like to DIY," she explained.
Once the lights were properly installed, she pushed her couch back to its original position and got to work on some styling touches to it.
A pack of $21 velvet black pillowcases took her throw pillows from bland to glam.
The black pillows added a pop of color and some new texture to her beige couch.
A $48 cable knit throw blanket pulled her living room together and amped up the coziness levels.
