What Giants might do on special teams in 2024 NFL Draft

Graham Gano is 37 years old and coming off surgery on his left knee.

This past season, he missed six field goals — after missing only eight the three previous seasons with the Giants.

Another leg is needed and it seems as if the coaching staff wants to add some youth to the placekicker position this summer, even with Gano on the scene.

Cam Little of Arkansas is a player the Giants have studied.

In a three-year college career, Little hit 82.8 percent of his field goals with a long of 56 yards.

He was also a perfect 129 of 129 on extra points.

Jamie Gillan returns at punter and Casey Kreiter was re-signed at long snapper.

There is a new special teams coordinator, as Michael Ghobrial replaces Thomas McGaughey.

Ghobrial spent the past three years as a Jets assistant.

Given the new kickoff rules, finding a return man in this draft makes sense.
