A BAD date got even worse as one woman spilled the details about the sour situation.
She said that at one point, the would-be rendezvous got so weird, she thought she would be kidnapped.
Laura Muzzarelli (@lauramuzzarelli) recounted the strange situation in a viral video on TikTok.
She said it all started when they met at a Mexican restaurant.
The man was her waiter and didn't speak English very well. Muzzarelli said she didn't speak Spanish fluently either, but they decided to exchange numbers and text.
Their first date was set to be at the local movie theater to watch a film together, but he was significantly late.

Muzzarelli said her date was running late and texted that he couldn't find her.
The film had gone on for 12 minutes when he asked her to share her location with him, which she denied.
In yet another viral video, she explained more of what happened.
The strange date continued texting her, telling her to come outside and even asking if she'd like to watch a movie at her place instead of in the theater.

Irritated, she asked movie theater staff to walk her to her car after buying a bucket of popcorn.
"Part two of my bad first date. Did I almost get kidnapped?" she added in the caption.

Some said how they would personally handle the situation.
"When he said he’s going to be late I would’ve just went to watch it myself," one said.
