CHURCHMAN (3.55 Stratford, nap)
Alastair Ralph’s hurdler has improved with every run since going handicapping and went down by a nose at Ludlow last time.
He finished the race strongly so this extra two furlongs could do the trick in what looks a weaker race. Some give in the ground suits and he looks on a fair handicap mark.
AMERICAN AFFAIR (3.45 Musselburgh, nb)
He was consistent last season and went close in a hot handicap at Ayr last time despite getting no luck in running. He seemed to enjoy the drop back to five furlongs there and has enough pace to challenge again.
EASY PEASY (2.15 Stratford, treble)
She has won four of her five runs including both over hurdles. She was just pushed out at Ludlow last time and has more to come now handicapping.
