FROM the DJ to the buffet, there's no denying that weddings can be very expensive.

But one woman has proven that there's no need to fork out a small fortune on a designer dress with a hefty price tag, as she claims to have found the perfect wedding gown from Shein.

Necole took to TikTok and explained how she'd tried on 10 dresses and was on the verge of giving up.

It was only when she was looking for ring boxes on Shein that she decided to take a risk and order a bargain gown that she spotted on the budget site, too.

Despite admitting she assumed it wouldn't fit and that it'd need returning right away, she was pleasantly surprised when the 'ADYCE One Shoulder Ruched Split Thigh Cocktail Party Formal Dress' arrived.

It features a stunning one shouldered detail with a thigh high split - and perhaps the best part of all?

It's priced at just £29.49, with Necole noting how you can also get vouchers online like, which for her, brought the final cost down to just £27.

Got mine on Shein too £60! it was perfect!

Satisfied Shein customer

Delighted with the dress, she praised how it "fit perfect," adding: "Material was lovely. I'm f***ing obsessed."

She went on to say how she was eloping to the Scottish mountains for her big day and knew the dress would end up getting ruined, so there was no point in spending thousands.

Available in sizes 6-16, the frock in question also comes in a range of different colours, making it ideal for several special occasions.

The post quickly went viral, racking up a whopping £158k views and several comments from very impressed social media users.

"Fantastic. Mine was £79 and I thought that was too expensive for a wedding dress! Who in their right mind would pay more for a dress!!" wrote one.

I'm curvy and found the best wedding guest dress for all my long sleeve gals and it's only £6

A second penned: "Wedding dresses are fast fashion I swear I got mine second hand because I was going to wear it once you know what it's in a black bag in my mum's loft I haven't seen it in 7 years."

"Shhhh mine was only 20 quid more expensive….I ran away to Crete ….and it was ted Baker. "e can do it amazing can't we ladies," commented a third.

A fashion expert's verdict on buying a wedding dress from Shein

WHEN it comes to your big day, you want to feel your best and look your best.
You want to feel special and, more importantly, be comfortable in what you're wearing, are you going to get that from Shein? I doubt it.
Look, in an ideal world you're getting hitched to the person of your dreams and what you wear is irrelevant. But let's be honest, it's kind of a big deal.
If you're spending your hard earned cash on food, drinks, favours and everything else to celebrate you and your partner with your nearest and dearest, you deserve a dress that makes you feel like a million dollars.
But a £30 frock from Shein is a gamble.
It might be ill fitting, it might be badly made or just the complete opposite to what you expected.
High street bridal dresses are ten a penny these days with brands such as Asos, Karen Millen and even Primark selling bridal wear.
Make a day out of it and hit your local high street or shopping centre to try on as many as you can until you find 'the one', don't wait for the postman to deliver disappointment.

"Beautiful dress yours is!"

Meanwhile, a fourth noted: "Got mine on Shein too £60! it was perfect!"

A further added: "Mine was £11 on Vinted."

And one more chimed in: "My dress cost me £30 and two bottles of wine.

"It was also made by my grandpa who learnt how to make dresses for me when I was little."
