Genetics and lifestyle habits such as color treatments, tight hairstyles, and a diet lacking in necessary nutrients can thin your hair, according to Healthline.

Supplements, DIY remedies, and prescription treatments may be beneficial for slowing or reversing hair loss.

However, these solutions aren’t a quick fix for achieving the appearance of thick hair.

Lauren Amy Hurren (@lauren.amarauk) unexpectedly went viral on TikTok when she revealed the foam that instantly makes her hair look fuller.

She confessed to having tried many different products in the hopes of improving her fine strands.

She began to apply a foam through her damp hair as she gushed it volumizes her locks in one blow dry.

Lauren showed how it transformed her tresses after heat-activating with a Dyson Airwrap.

She raved about being able to brush her hair continuously without losing any volume after using the foam.

Almost 94,000 viewers liked the video and many begged to find out the name of the product.

Others revealed they’ve already tried the foam with impressive results.

“Best stuff I’ve ever used on my baby fine hair,” one person said. “When my hair was dried, I literally said wow LOL.”

“I have this & have fine hair & I LOVE this stuff! Makes my hair look and feel so great,” another commented.

“This actually works although I use one pump for my whole hair otherwise it gets sticky,” a third wrote.

“I love the mouse! Hair has tons of volume and not sticky or gross feeling, just nice to touch,” another added.

The Color Wow Xtra Large Bombshell Volumizer that Lauren used is currently discounted from $26 to $21.15 at Walmart.

According to the manufacturer, it “visibly thickens” hair without dehydrating or damaging the cuticle layer.

Tips for styling thinning hair

Rachael E. D Sey is a certified trichologist with almost 15,000 Instagram followers.

She revealed to The U.S. Sun how to protect hair from further loss.

Hairstyles

Sey recommended opting for a top knot or loosely braided ponytail over styles that tension strands.

She also advised to limit the use of heat tools such as a hair dryer or straightener.

Those who have afro hair, should avoid braids or consider larger braids.

DIY treatments

The trichologist said hair should be washed regularly and trimmed every six weeks.

She recommended using hair oils to help "improve scalp circulation and follicles."

A blog post on the Color Wow website recommends dispensing two to three pumps of foam into the hands and applying them to sections of damp hair.

Once all the hair is covered, comb the foam through for even distribution and blow or air dry.

Walmart customers have given the product a 4-star rating and penned glowing reviews.
