WHEN we speak about addictions - must of us are talking about coffee or chocolate - not growing your nails out.
But Ayanna Williams, from Texas, has made it into the Guinness World Record for longest finger nails by a woman, and her toe nails are also hard to beat.

The 54-year-old revealed that she had become addicted to growing her nails on her fingers and toes as she flaunted off the goods to TLC on My Strange Addiction.
"They're just sexy and sassy. I am considered a long-nailed goddess," she said after revealing she had been growing out her nails for 30 years.
But despite loving the glam look of her nails - it could be risking her health.
She revealed she had been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes - a disease which requires exercise to beat, but her nails prevented her form doing that.

While her family have begged her to get rid of the nails she 'will fiercely protect them at all costs.'
At first, Ayanna was just obsessed with growing out her finger nails - but it wasn't enough, and she soon moved on to her toe nails as well.

Her four-inch long toe nails certainly turn heads when out in public as she can't wear normal shoes because of how big they are.
"People are shocked when they see me but, I don't worry about them I love it and, that's all that matters," she added.

The extreme length of her talons makes most day-to-day activities impossible - she has to walk slowly in order to protect her toes.
Not only that, but Ayanna is forced to wear flip flops throughout every type of season to be able to keep her nails and has even resorted to cutting the top of trainers so her nails can peek through.

Ayanna barely gets any sleep either as the duvet feels 'like a brick' on her toe nails.
Wanting to treat her obsession with the love it deserves - Ayanna reveals she splashes out over £100 on her nails every single weeks and gets a pedicure done twice a week minimum.
The clip was a hit with viewers on the TLC YouTube page and many took to the comments in shock over Ayanna's nails.
One person wrote: "The nail one gives me anxiety. What if they broke off."
Another commented: "That is so unsanitary to have nails that long can you even imagine what those things smell like underneath and how do you even go to the restroom and clean yourself properly this is a bunch of foolishness."
"I'm sorry but you will never see me grow my nails out that long I find it utterly disgusting," penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: "Ok...the toe nails..."
