But if you don't want to fork out a fortune, best get heading to Home Bargains, where one woman has spotted the ultimate £2.99 purchase for a budget-friendly makeover.

Taking to TikTok, the gardening enthusiast, only known as Sophie, revealed how she'd snapped up numerous pots from the popular store, selling for under £3 each.

These pots, she showed in the video, come in a range of sizes and styles - whether you're after a grey one or a more chic black option, there's one for every preference and taste.

Although the retailer offers a wide range of pots, Sophie was particularly impressed with their Milano Square Planter, which shoppers can bag in Upright Medium, Upright Large and Trough Large.

All of these are also going for almost 50 per cent less than elsewhere - so, if you want to get your hands on the planters, best act quick, as we're sure the item will be a major hit amongst shoppers.

Perfect addition for any garden, they look fantastic both inside or outside the home, and when in full bloom, the flowers will only enhance the planter features further.

''I have got lots of these in my garden in both sizes - and the great thing about these pots is that you can even buy them online,'' Sophie couldn't stop raving about the purse-friendly essential.

''Just with pots remember that you will have to add your own drainage holes - but that's pretty easy.''

Sophie, who posts under the username @lookinsidemygarden, also shared snaps of her outdoor space, where the £2.99 planters were full of bright flowers and other plants.

And this is not the only find the green-fingered gardening lover has recently shared with her followers on the platform.

How to DIY transform your patio this summer

According to Sophie, Aldi are now selling a £5.99 bargain that will brighten up your outdoor space in no time - gorgeous Clematis plants that are ''fast-growing'' and will make your garden go from drab to fab with barely any effort.

Dubbed the ‘'Queen of Climbers'’, Clematis produce blooms in a wide variety of shapes and colours, including purple and pink.

If you know how to look after them properly, gardening fans can also enjoy their blooms throughout the year, experts at RHS said.

The Fabulous plants, which can grow several feet tall, are best suited to growing on walls and fences, up obelisks and pergolas, into trees, in containers and even in a mixed border.

As they typically start to bloom around May to June, it's best to plant them now, to have a gorgeous garden ready, as we're approaching the summer season.

However, she also warned to ensure the roots are not exposed to direct sunlight, so keep this in mind if you're heading to Aldi to purchase the £5.99 bargain.

''You just want to dig a nice deep hole and then get ready to tie in the growth.

''This variety grows very quickly, so next year you will have so many flowers,'' the shopper said.

What's more, the discount retailer was also offering heaps of perennials from their Roots & Bloom range, priced at £1.89.
