Ida, who regularly shares cleaning and home tips on her social media pages, took to TikTok (@siivousfriikki) and explained how she purchased the 'VATTENSTEN LED lighting strip, white, 1m' from the Swedish retailer.
The online product description reads: "With this LED lighting strip, you can unleash your creativity and decorate with light in all kinds of places in your home – above cabinets, by the TV or under the sofa.
"The possibilities are endless!"

And Ida demonstrated exactly that as she showed off the stunning results after applying it to the bottom of her sofa.
"Ikea hack: Mood lighting," she penned.
Delighted with the results after it instantly helped to light up the room, she added: "Best living room hack ever!"
