Coronation Street’s Daniel Osbourne caught with a sex worker as Lauren Bolton mystery deepens
CORONATION Street’s Daniel Osbourne has been caught with a sex worker tonight as the Lauren Bolton mystery deepens.
The teacher - who is played by actor Rob Mallard in the ITV soap - is under suspicion of being involved of her disappearance, even though the police have charged Roy Cropper with her murder.
Tonight, Daniel failed to help himself as he called on old pal Nicky Wheatley to quiz her about Lauren being a sex worker.
Viewers will remember that Daniel leaned on Nicky after the death of his wife Sinead.
But tonight their reunion, with Nicky now working as a support worker, was filmed by Max Turner who promptly sent it to the police.
Daniel tried to explain it all away but it looked very dodgy and even more so when he invited Nicky back to his and Bethany caught them together.

“I’ve got something to ask you but it’s a bit of a weird one,” said Daniel.
“When you were a sex worker, did Roy Cropper ever use your services?”
But Nicky told him: “Like you said, I’d have mentioned. Don’t suppose that proves anything though, does it?
“From what you tell me he’s a private kind of guy.”

As the pair spoke, Daniel panicked when Bethany walked in and rushed to tell her that they were just talking about Lauren.
Nicky told her: “I can see you’re freaked out but he’s telling the truth.
“Listen Bethany, I have had so many men cheat on me and then lie to my face, so trust me I would drop him right in it.
“My sympathies would be with you not him, I’m all for girl power me. If I hear anything I’ll be in touch.”
With Nicky gone, Bethany told Daniel pointedly: “I can see why you like her.”
“She’s just a good mate, that’s all,” Daniel insisted. “She cares about women who have had a rough time.”

But Bethany pointed out: “I get it but it doesn’t do you any favours does it, meeting up with you and her mate. And DS Swain’s obviously reading into it.”
