But whilst you might expect to find these slashed chocolate treats at a supermarket, you’ll be surprised to find out where they are actually shelved.

One savvy shopper was left stunned when browsing her local Card Factory - yes, you heard that correctly, the place that sells the cheap cards and wrapping paper - when she spotted that the luxurious Lindt bunnies were on sale.

Thrilled with her finds, Anna Maria Duffy stocked up on the reduced chocolate and took to social media to alert other shoppers.

Posting on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, a private Facebook group with 2.4 million members, Anna shared a picture of her haul and penned: “My first ever bargain today in the Card Factory. All for £1.90.”

Anna then confirmed that the large iconic gold Lindt bunnies had been slashed to just 30p each.

Meanwhile, the smaller sized milk chocolate bunnies were only 25p each.

Best bargain ever

Clearly impressed with the reductions, Anna nabbed three large bunnies and four mini bunnies, all with the iconic red ribbon around their necks, costing her less than £2.

Anna then added: “They had loads left.

"This was the Card Factory in Tottenham Court Road, London.”

Anna’s post was shared just 14 hours ago, but it has clearly left many open-mouthed, as social media users flocked to the comments to praise Anna’s cheap finds.

I’ve found a supermarket with ‘insane’ food and drink prices - there’s great deals on chocolate, booze and fizzy drinks

One person said: “Best bargain ever.”

Another added: “That’s a good find.”

A third commented: “Well done, lovely bargain. Enjoy them.”

At the same time, one chocolate lover penned: “Ooh....might have a nosey in my store tomorrow. Hopefully it's nationwide.”

NOT JUST CHEAP CHOCOLATE...

But it’s not just deals on the chocolate that Card Factory are currently offering.

Another bargain hunter also took to the Facebook page to show off a deal she recently spotted at the chain.
