More body parts likely belonging to a 19-year-old college student who was killed and dismembered on a date washed up on the shores of Lake Michigan Thursday.
A torso and arm believed to be Sade Robinson’s were found around 7:30 a.m. by a citizen walking “along a remote stretch of tree-lined beach” in South Milwaukee, the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office said.
Although it has not been forensically confirmed, investigators are confident the remains are those “of Sade Robinson, 19, [who] MSCO investigators believe was murdered by Maxwell Anderson” earlier this month.
Anderson, 33, was arrested on April 4, one day after Robinson’s severed leg was found on the same beach and three days after the pair’s fateful rendezvous.
A foot and pieces of human flesh were later found scattered across several locations near where Robinson’s car was found.
Anderson’s father, Steven Anderson, released a statement Thursday that offered condolences to Robinson’s loved ones, saying in part that his family was “shocked and devastated by her senseless death.”
The statement came out before the latest discovery of remains was made public.
Anderson and Robinson went on a dinner date on April 1, with the Milwaukee Area Technical College criminal justice student telling neighbors how excited she was to meet with Anderson.
“I’m feeling seafood,” she texted the suspect before the pair met up to eat, according to a criminal complaint.
Concerned friends and co-workers reported her missing the next day when she failed to show up to her shift at a local pizza joint.
That’s when investigators found her severely torched 2020 Honda Civic on a street corner — along with the scorched remains of the outfit she had worn on the date.
Anderson — whom Robinson’s grieving family called a “sick son of a b–ch” — allegedly killed Robinson after dinner, drinks and time together at his apartment.
Her cellphone pinged at several locations across the city between midnight and 4:30 a.m., before finally running out of battery near the beach park where her remains have washed up.
Footage from the park showed a car matching Robinson’s and a person walking back and forth from the car to the beach.
Hours later, the torched Honda was found miles north, and Anderson was seen riding a bus away from the area toward his home.
“The Defendant intentionally killed and then dismembered Robinson with the intent to conceal the homicide, and it occurred between the arrival at the Defendant’s residence and his departure from the Warnimont Park area,” the complaint states.
Anderson — who has at least three prior convictions for domestic incidents — has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and arson in the case.
An attorney for Anderson previously told CNN he “is presumed innocent,” and plans to “vigorously” fight the charges.
He is being held on a $5 million bond. A preliminary examination is scheduled for Monday.
