We all love tool deals. I say this with confidence for two reasons. One, you're on a car website, in a section called The Garage run by two guys who might actually go to a Cars and Coffee event—if the cars were parked on lifts. And two, because we have a whole department that keeps track of what our readers click through and buy. Like us, you can't pass up a deal on tools.

For today, we are taking a look at tool deals from Ace Hardware, probably the closest thing most of us have to an actual hardware store these days. As convenient and useful as the big-boxes are, I like to walk into a store that doesn't require an app to navigate and a switch to my "walkin' shoes." You can take advantage of the deals on the website and then either have it delivered to your front door or pick up your new stuff in the store and grab a few impulse buys at the same time.

I was tempted to include everything from BBQ rubs to patio umbrellas, but I stuck to deals on tools from Milwaukee and Craftsman. As spring is right around the corner, I figured it was a good time to think about car detailing. When you buy the Milwaukee M18 cordless polisher for $299 they are throwing in a free 6AH battery pack, which is a $179 bargain. There's also some vacuums on sale, both from Milwaukee and a big ol' Craftsman 9-Gallon wet/dry vacuum for $69.99. But, there's also a Craftsman Versastack 230-piece mechanic's tool set for $129.00 that includes a tool box; this is a great starter set that I may pick up for son. If I pull the trigger, I will definitely do store pickup and take him with me. He hasn't be as enthused with the big boxes stores since they all got rid of the hot dog carts.
