Pearson gold heist arrests include Air Canada staff, as police recover just $90K out of $20M in missing gold

A joint Canada-U.S. task force investigating the largest gold heist in Canadian history say the case also involved the seizure of guns headed for Canada.

Two Air Canada employees and a Toronto jewelry store owner were among the inner group that plotted the theft of nearly $24 million in gold and cash from a storage unit at Pearson International Airport a year ago, police say.
