Bayern Munich 1-0 Arsenal (AGG 3-2) LIVE RESULT: Gunners OUT of Champions League to German foes after Kimmich’s header

ARSENAL are OUT of the Champions League following a 1-0 (AGG 3-2) defeat at the Allianz Arena.

The difference maker in the tie was a bullet header from Joshua Kimmich on 63 minutes.

Arsenal have failed to beat Bayern in their last five meetings as Mikel Arteta's men now have full focus on the race for the Premier League title.

    With Saka and Martinelli occupying the wings, Havertz was the player tasked with leading the line in Munich.

    Much like Jesus, he comes deep and drifts out wide looking to link play.

    It is like they do not know WWE rules apply now in the Premier League.

    Odegaard has a brief glimpse of gola but his right footed shot from a tight angle and takes a deflection before Neuer tips it wide.

    Incredibly, the referee awards a goal kick.

    Both Arsenal and Man City are trailing 1-0.

    On the plus side, these are going to be entertaining ends to both matches.

    Arsenal are awarded a free kick in a dangerous position, around 25 yards from goal in a wide position.

    It is whipped in towards the back post, Neuer dives full-stretch to tip it behind for another corner.

    As they throw more players forward, they will leave themselves open to the Bayern counter-attack.

    Mikel Arteta will need to really show his management skills to turn this situation around for Arsenal.

    They seem to have more a drive to want to get players in the box.
