Comedian and former Saturday Night Live cast member Rob Schneider delivered — and didn't get a chance to complete — his "vulgar" set during a Republican event last year he was forced to apologize for, according to Politico's Daniel Lippman.

The Daily Beast reports, "His 'raunchy' material caused at least one lawmaker, Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-MS) to get up and walk out, with a spokesperson confirming: 'She didn’t have to listen to it and so she got up and left.'"

Schneider has since rejected the accusations, according to the Independent, "telling TMZ: 'I’m not changing my material or apologising for my jokes to anybody. Enough with this woke bulls***, America’s sick of it. I did 50 minutes because that’s what I was paid to do."

He added, "Nobody removed me from stage, somebody waved to me at the 50-minute mark."

However, according to the Beast, Senate Working Group (SWG) Executive Director James Kimmey abruptly stopped the former SNL star ten minutes into his 30-minute set.

Sources told Politico Schneider "made at least one joke about 'Korean whore-houses,'" which Politico reports SWG says "disregarded a verbal agreement" the comedian "made with Kimmey to keep his set relatively clean."

Politico also notes the nearly 150 attendees, "which included more than 40 Senate chiefs of staff, received an apology email the next day: 'While we do our best to ensure every aspect of our program is professional, courteous, and appropriate, we sincerely regret that the entertainment at last night’s program fell short of that goal,' it said."
