Artificial Intelligence pro Jessica Cunningham, 35, spoke exclusively with The U.S. Sun about a Reel she posted to Instagram demonstrating the tried-and-true hack.

Her laundry day advice saves her from having to lug a bulky detergent bottle around.

It also may help reduce hidden costs that can accrue with leaky or otherwise faulty bottles.

The tip creates a level of convenience that is much appreciated on wash day.

HOW TO SIMPLIFY LAUNDRY DAY

Cunningham pulled out a massive bottle of Tide liquid laundry detergent, showing viewers there was an easier way to access the liquid.

She explained that she simply poured some of the detergent into a water bottle with a sports nozzle on the top.

"Just get one of these," she said, holding up the filled Smartwater bottle. "Way more efficient."

BACK IN THE USA

Cunningham discovered the tip after returning home to the US from Europe, where she lived for some time.

The idea is to have more control over applying the detergent while increasing convenience.

"I do so many small loads that it’s a pain lifting the heavy container, or if I use the cup it will either get messy or I have to throw it in the load then I hear that cup banging around," she said.

My cheap 2-part paste will get rid of soap scum around your tub - my go-to ingredient will get rid of scuff marks too

"So, when I was living with my aunt when we moved back to the States I was so impressed by such a simple solution — duh, a smaller bottle.

"And the sports-type spout made so much sense."

She added that the laundry hack also helps her save some coin in the long run.

"I’m still saving money by getting a bulk-priced item, but having the convenience of a smaller bottle," she said.

TOUGHEST JOB IN THE WORLD

As a mother of a baby and a 7-year-old, Cunningham is no stranger to laundry day woes.

She tackles her family's larger pieces herself, but she finds it simpler to use a laundry service for their smaller items.

"I actually outsource our clothes because I hate folding small things," she told The U.S. Sun. "But I wash our towels, bath mats, and sheets."

When it comes to combating stains — one truly leaves a mark.

"[The] toughest stains are ink stains," Cunningham said. "My 7-year-old loves to draw, but one careless move and it’s on there.

"And if I don’t see it and have it washed — it’s there forever."
