Fern, previously left her position on the daytime sofa show in 2009 after she fell put with Phillip Schofield, 62.

This was after a ten year tenure as the main presenter on the flagship daytime show after she joined in 1999.

But according to the latest odds by betideas.com, the former Ready Steady Cook presenter could make a huge return to the commercial broadcaster.

She currently stands at 6/1 odds to return to This Morning as a guest presenter.

But other shows also might be a good fit as her odds sit as 8/3 for Fern to sit in for Lorraine.

Currently Lorraine's relief presenters include Christine Lampard and Good Morning Britain personality Ranvir Singh.

If that is too early, she could have a space ready for her on the Loose Women panel with odds at 4/5.

Lee Astley, who is spokesperson for the betting company explained that her return to daytime TV could come sooner rather than later.

He commented: "Many are wondering what’s next for Fern Britton after making the final of Celebrity Big Brother last month, with a host of daytime TV shows reportedly scrambling to get her back on our screens sooner rather than later.

"Britton has been backed into 6/1 to make a sensational return as a presenter on ITV’s This Morning – a role she last left in 2009 – whilst seats on both Lorraine (8/13) and Loose Women (4/5) are also well in the mix.

He also said that she could consider offers from other ITV reality shows - such as I'm A Celebrity or Dancing On Ice - in order to raise her profile.

The spokesperson added: "Should Britton opt for something less sedentary, a trip to the jungle to feature as a contestant on the next season of I’m A Celebrity trades at 7/2, whilst an opportunity to take to the rink on Dancing on Ice looks attractive at 8/1."

It's also possible the beloved TV star could explore other formats, as she stands with odds of 4/1 to get her own travel show.

Fern was also known for her infectious personality and it's possible her own talk show could get commissioned with odds standing at 5/1.

This comes after rumours swirled that Ferne could make a huge comeback to ITV, 15 years after her high-profile departure.

Fern largely stepped away from the spotlight after her first departure from the show.

She recently returned to the iconic sofa for an interview with Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley.

Insiders previously told Mail Plus that with Phillip firmly out of the picture, execs have their sights on recruiting Fern back into the fold.
