Avtovaz plans to sell 45,000 Lada cars in April

According to sales reporting, this is 1.6 times higher than in April 2023

MOSCOW, April 16. /TASS/. Avtovaz is going to sell about 45,000 Lada cars in April 2024, chief executive of the Russian automaker Maxim Sokolov said.

"Half of the month has passed, we are plus-minus 99% in line with our forecast. If I am not mistaken, almost 20,500 cars were sold as of yesterday. Sales in the second half of the month are normally more active than in the first one," the chief executive said. "Therefore, we are cautious yet forecast somewhat within 45,000," Sokolov added.

According to sales reporting, this is 1.6 times higher than in April 2023, when 27,600 Lada cars were sold in the Russian market.
