That's because one savvy homeowner has revealed how she transformed her outdoor space on a budget - using a lick of paint and a cheap purchase from Home Bargains.

In a clip shared to TikTok, she penned: "When people say you can't DIY your own garden on a budget."

She then showed how she proved them wrong by first sharing a snap of her garden before the impressive makeover.

With nothing but a few grey slabs of pavement and a vast area of exposed soil, it's fair to say it was in need of some serious sprucing up.

Demonstrating what a bit of DIY and determination can do, she then revealed the finished result - and it's little surprise people are branding her outdoor paradise "beautiful."

Completely unrecognisable, she laid some fresh grass and created a super stylish BBQ patio area complete with L-shaped sofa, bean bags and egg chair.

Meanwhile, she placed a couple of light-coloured wicker chairs and side table on a geometric patterned outdoor rug on the patio, creating a second area to kick back and relax.

For anyone looking to follow in her footsteps, then you're in luck...because she's revealed some of the bargain products she used.

To achieve the look, the DIY whizz painted her fence using Cuprinol 'natural stone,' which retails at £19.99 for a 2.5l tin from Screwfix, and gave her decking a coat of Cuprinol in ‘city stone.’

She also snapped up an outdoor rug from Home Bargains, which is currently out of stock but is believed to have been priced around £15.99.

The online product description reads: "Create a perfect place to have a picnic, lounge in the sun or to have a few drinks with your friends.

We were quoted £5k to transform our garden but did it ourselves on a budget - levelling the lawn set us back just £75

"This outdoor rug is waterproof and perfect for your outdoor activities.

"It is light weight so you wont need to worry about the extra weight when carrying it."

Alongside the before and after photos, the delighted homeowner penned: "I can’t wait to be able to sit out in this garden again soon!"

It wasn't long before the post went viral, racking up a whopping 238k views and several comments from very impressed social media users.

"Looks incredible," praised one.

"Wow!! What a transformation," a second social media user enthused.

A third noted: "Wow beautiful! Love to know how."

Meanwhile, a fourth simply commented: "Love this!"

Another added: "Looks great - ready in time for summer."
