WE often hear celeb's raving about the hottest new haircare line or make-up product - rarely do we see them stick their money where their mouth is.

But Stacey Solomon did just that after praising one brand for fixing her damaged hair that left her wearing wigs and was such a fan she invested in the haircare company.

The 34-year-old mum-of-five is most known for her savvy DIY and organisation skills, but she's also a big fan of all things beauty.

In fact, the Loose Women presenter has raved about REHAB. Your Hair multiple times on social media - claiming it worked wonders on her damaged locks.

HAIR HORROR

Stacey had to resort to wearing wigs to hide her broken hair back in 2018, and told The Sun at the time how she forked £1,000 on 'Suze', to cover up her grey hair and snapped ends.

(I) realised just how clever and incredible this business was

She was in her late twenties at the time, and explained the extent of which her hair was ruined: "My ends are bleached within an inch of their lives so I look like I have zebra hair that fades into yellow noodles.

"Also, I have very thick, coarse Jewish hair so washing and leaving it is not an option."

She felt she had no choice but to cough up a grand and wear a wig for TV appearances and when she went out in public.

LOCKED IN

Since then, one brand in particular caught the mum's eye, the all-woman founded haircare brand Rehab Your Hair.

After trying the products for herself, Stacey has invested in the company telling fans on Instagram: "A huge moment In my life.

"So… I have decided for the first time in my entire career to invest my own money into a small business and become a third of Rehab - It doesn’t feel real.

"Growing up investing in a small business is never something in my life I thought I’d have the chance to be able to do! I feel like I’m writing this about someone else.

"I then brought more from the business and realised just how clever and incredible this business was."

HAIRY SITUATION

So we decided to put the products to the test to see how well they really perform.

The product range consists of shampoo and conditioner sheets, hair oils and hair perfume - all priced at £24 or more.

For reference, my hair is thick and on the dryer side as I do get it dyed every couple of months.

SUDS UP

To start, I of course went in with their shampoo sheets that cost £24 and come with 25 sheets per pack.

These sheets are packed with Rosemary Oil, known to promote stronger, fuller-looking, healthy hair, and Olive Oil and Calendula Oil.

The sulphate-free sheets are easy to use, you simply wet the sheet and lather in your hand before applying to your scalp.

I needed two sheets to cover my whole scalp and the bio-degradable packaging washed down the drain along with the shampoo.

It had a good lather to it and it left my scalp feeling clean without drying it out.

MOISTURE SURGE

Next I went with the conditioner sheets (also £24 with 25 sheets), and straight off the bat, I wasn't convinced.

First of all, I didn't think there was enough product at all to go through my locks.

Secondly, I found the conditioner to lather up - something I don't really want from a product that should make my hair feel silky.

When I got the three sheets through my hair, it felt like I had just applied a shampoo again, but I bared with it and left it on for the recommended five minutes.

However, the fresh and floral scent was exceptionally nice and not too floral that you smell liek an old woman (sorry nan).

After rinsing it out, I was just as disappointed, my hair didn't feel soft and I was worried about getting a brush through it after as it was just as knotty as when I started.

OIL BE DAMNED

Previously, Stacey has said the Rehab.'s Dose 1.0 Hair Oil Capsules, £26 are "the best things I've ever used on my hair".

You get 30 in a pack and each comes in a bio-degradable capsule which you cut open.

After the conditioning sheets left me doubtful, I was praying the oil would save my hair before I went in with a blow dryer, and I'm glad to say it did.

The capsule had lots of product inside to cover all of the mid-length and ends of my hair and had the same floral fragrance as the shampoo and conditioner.

It has a blend of Moroccan oil, jojoba oil, aloe vera oil and vitamins A, C, E and B5 to help strengthen hair and it sure did.

Usually I find hair oils don't do much apart from weigh my hair down but these puppies left my hair feeling soft and shiny without the grease.

MIST OUT

After following my usual blow-drying routine I finished my hair off with the hair perfume spray.

A lot of scented sprays can leave your hair dry, but as it was infused with oils it seemed to keep my hair soft with an extra blast of their signature scent.

You get 50ml of hair perfume for £38 which I don't think is unreasonable considering the smell lasts for days.

VERDICT

Altogether, I actually really enjoyed the products, the shampoo sheets are a fun gimmick and would be ideal for travel as they won't count as liquids.

My only issue with the sheets is that you have to remember to take them in the shower with you, which can be annoying if you're as forgetful as me, unlike having a bottle on the side of your shower as if you leave them in the wet area they might dissolve before you use them.

The conditioning sheets are not something I would reach for unless I was desperate as I needed to use a fair few and didn't find them to do much for my hair.

The standout product for me was the hair oil - I can totally understand why Stacey is obsessed and can see why she invested in the brand just from this product alone.

The hair perfume was also a winner, although not essential, it's a great product to grab if you want to treat yourself.
