That's because a delighted bargain hunter couldn't believe her luck when she stumbled upon a box of Reese's Peanut Butter Creme Eggs, with each reduced to just 17p.

Deciding to make the most of the opportunity, she took the whole box of 30 - and at that price, who can blame her?

Francesca Gray took to money-saving Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK and shared a photo of the heavily reduced sweet treats.

Alongside the post, she penned: "Reduced to 17p each in Tesco (Middlesbrough) so obviously I had to buy a box of 30."

However, she noted: "I did leave another two boxes on the shelf!"

My fave egg! I would have taken every box. I ate 3 of these before bed last night

Social media user

The post quickly garnered many likes and comments, with several social media users admitting they too would've nabbed as many as could've.

"They went to 7p each in Sainsbury's last week - I cleared all 7 that were left," wrote one.

A second praised: "Nice find. First come, first served!"

"I would have bought them all for my daughter!!! Even if I had to freeze some!!" admitted a third.

Meanwhile, a fourth noted: "My fave egg! I would have taken every box. I ate 3 of these before bed last night..."

Another commented: "Would have taken the other two as well."

And one more who was desperate not to miss the deal, chimed in: "I might have to go to Tesco."

It's not the first time shoppers have admitted to taking advantage of hugely discounted offers either.

Fabulous previously told how a lucky shopper named Natasha split opinion after revealing she managed to get her hands on 13 reduced priced Easter eggs.

Sharing a snap on Facebook group Yellow sticker shopping tips, tricks and hauls, she penned: "Easter egg haul this morning £22.95 for 13 eggs not too bad should have been £59.50 saving over £30."

Amongst the bargains included M&Ms, Celebrations, Cadbury Twirl, Kit Kat, Creme Egg, Dairy Milk and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

However, not everyone was impressed with Natalie's bargain finds, with one social media user questioning: "Can I ask why?"

Natasha hit back: "I have 6 kids and I work for my money so even if I want to buy 50 Easter eggs after Easter that is my choice."

When do supermarkets put out yellow-sticker bargains?

The time supermarkets reduce their products vary across stores.

Here's a rough supermarket-by-supermarket guide:

Aldi

Aldi uses a red sticker to show reductions on fresh products such as bread, meat, fruit and vegetables.

This is when they have reached the last day of shelf life.

Red stickered items are most commonly found at opening and closing times.

M&S

Reduction times can vary from store to store but is most likely to occur near closing time.

Asda

Asda told Which? that yellow stickers are applied twice a day - in the morning and evening.

Co-op

Co-op told The Sun its reduced-to-clear prices are generally applied about four hours before the store closes.

Lidl

Lidl has a similar procedure to Asda and Aldi with reductions twice a day.

However individual stores may opt to reduce prices throughout the day.

Morrisons

Shoppers online have said that Morrisons does the best bargains first thing in the morning.

However, the store told Which? that there are no specific times for yellow sticker price cuts.

Sainsbury's

Sainsbury's told The Sun it's at the store manager's discretion whether to offer discounts.

However, shoppers have reported that the best deals are in the evening from 6pm.

Tesco

Tesco has said there is no specific time for reduction, but again most people found that prices were reduced from 6pm.

Waitrose

As with most of the other stores, Waitrose shoppers have said the best reductions are found before closing.

However the store stated that there is no specific time for yellow stickers to be applied.
