EMMERDALE's Tom King ups his sick abuse of wife Belle Dingle on the soap and uses Gabby Thomas as part of his scheming plot.

Fans have been left distressed and distraught in recent weeks as they have watched Tom treat his new wife horribly.

Belle has been seen to question her marriage but has so far put it down to newlywed marital troubles.

Tom has used a variety of manipulative tactics to sabotage his wife and to belittle her.

He ruined a potentially lucrative job opportunity for her as well as making her fear and panic their dog had gone missing as part of a sick 'animal abuse' plot.

But now it looks like he is set to step things up a gear and draw more villagers into his harrowing plot.

In upcoming scenes, fans will see Tom enjoying making Belle distressed at his unexpected newfound friendship with Gabby Thomas.

Tom finds himself forming a connection with Gabby as part of a plot that sees him hunt for a girlfriend for Vinny Dingle.

Emmerdale fans will witness as Tom grows increasingly jealous of Belle and Vinny's friendship, particularly after he attacked Vinny at the scrap yard.

As Belle continues to look after Vinny, Tom decided to become close to him himself in order to humiliate and embarrass him in front of Belle.
