SAM Faiers has revealed she's in agony after suffering an injury in an accident with her young son Edward.

The former Towie star, 33, took to Instagram to ask for any advice after the one-year-old poked her in the eye.

Sharing a selfie of her rocking Chanel sunglasses, Sam said: "New pain unlocked and never experience before.

"Edward poked me in my eyeball this morning..

"This sounds dramatic but I've never had this kind of pain from an eye poke.

"It's corneal abrasion. It's so painful... like burns. Any tips. Sunglasses help slightly."

Just before heading to bed Sam updated her followers with how she was feeling.

The mum-of-three said: "Guys thank you soo much for your messages.

"I can't believe how many of you have experience this too.

"I thought am I being over the top? But it's been soo painful all day.

"Finally getting into bed & hoping when I wake up it's eased off.

"I got drops, and I sprayed colloidal silver on them & rubbed some caster oil on too."

According to the Oxford Health NHS Foundation, corneal abrasion is a "small wound on the clear covering of your eye".

It usually takes up to 72 hours to heal.

Sam welcomed baby Edward into the world in May 2022.

The reality star shares the tot with partner Paul Knightley, 35.

The pair, who have been together since 2014, also share seven-year-old Paul and Rosie, six.

Sam recently hit back after being mum shamed for a controversial parenting decision.

The star has been questioned by fans for co-sleeping with her children.

Sam said: “Remember, you are a providing a sense of security, comfort and reassurance, and helping regulate your baby’s breathing, heart rate and body temperature. Be Proud. We’re all doing our best.”

She captioned it: “Our children are only little for such a short time. Do what feels right for your family without feeling any pressure.
