The pair have been friends for years as part of ITV’s stable of talent but were snapped sharing the sweet moment during rehearsals on Saturday.

Asked about their relationship status, Josie, 39, joked: “I'm in love with Stephen Mulhern. There you go.”

She added to the Mail: “But story of my life, I don't think he loves me.”

Josie was last linked to This Morning cameraman Sam Morter after she shared a picture of them holding hands while on a job in Paris.

But, using the same joke to dispel romance rumours, she quipped: “I am not with Sam Morter... I love Sam Morter, he is my work colleague, I'm like his older sister. I'm like his auntie.”

During her stint on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here in December she declared herself single and asked campmate and First Dates star Fred Sirieix to set her up.

The Sun also revealed she had been flirting with a hunky Australian on the camera crew.

Josie is a proud single mum to son Reggie, five after splitting from his dad, property developer Terry, when their son was just five months old.

Before that she was engaged to plumber Luke Sanwo, but they split in 2015, following a five-year romance.

Meanwhile, Stephen is currently thought to be single.

In an interview with Celebs Now, he said: “Last time I went on a date was about four years ago. That makes me sound really sad! I need a life. I need to stop working so much.”

Representatives for Stephen and Josie were contacted for comment.
