MOSCOW, April 15. /TASS/. Kiev expects Canada to begin supplying its SkyRanger R70 drones this summer, Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Yekaterina Chernogorenko said.

According to Ukraine’s report to its international partners, which was posted on the defense ministry’s Telegram channel, Canada is set to supply 450 SkyRanger multi-role drones this coming summer. Apart from that, Lithuania will allocate three million euro for the production of FPV drones for Ukraine. Moreover, the Netherlands confirmed that in coordination with Denmark and Germany, it will produce a 200-million-euro batch of Heidrum R Q35 drones, and Germany intends to supply Vector 211 reconnaissance drones.

Canadian Minister of National Defense Bill Blair said in February that his country would transfer more than 800 SkyRanger R70 drones to the Ukrainian military. Supplies were originally planned to begin this spring. SkyRanger drones are capable of carrying up to 3.5 kilograms of cargoes, including munitions.
