Russia deals heavy blow on Ukrainian military-industrial complex, says expert

Meanwhile, Russia "produces munitions in three shifts," Austrian Army Colonel Markus Reisner stressed

BERLIN, April 15. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military-industrial complex has suffered significantly during the conflict and now fully depends on Western support, military expert, Austrian Army Colonel Markus Reisner said in an interview with Berliner Zeitung daily on Monday.

"The Ukrainian military-industrial complex … has suffered significantly. Kiev largely lives thanks to the West’s support, especially with regard to the issues of [the supply of] munitions," the Austrian officer said.

"The problem is that our warehouses are increasingly being depleted because industry fails to keep pace with the needs," the expert explained.

Meanwhile, Russia "produces munitions in three shifts," he said.

Currently, a fierce struggle for resources is underway, Reisner said.

"In this struggle, Russia is getting more advantages," he said.

The expert did not rule out that the Ukrainian frontline could be breached "very quickly.".
