Mr. Gregory B. Kirkland

Deputy to the Garrison Commander,

U.S. Army Garrison Casey

Mr. Greg Kirkland serves as Deputy to the Garrison Commander for U.S. Army Garrison Casey, Korea. He supports the Camp Casey Commander in accomplishing overall base operations management and is responsible for providing program support to various directors and special staff in support of the Soldiers, Civilians and family members.

Prior to his current assignment, he served as Functional Acquisition Lead for the Ground-Based Mid-Course Defense (GMD) Program Office, Missile Defense Agency, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. He was responsible for managing the acquisition functions for segments of the overall GMD weapons system.

Mr. Kirkland's Civil Service experience includes Supervisory Strategic Planning Officer at both the Army Support Activity, Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras and USAG Heidelberg, Germany; Lead Management and Program Analyst, Plans Division, IMCOM Korea Region, Seoul, Korea; Deputy Business Management Officer, Naval Air Station, Keflavik, Iceland.

Mr. Kirkland also served as Lead Analyst in the Plans, Analysis and Integration

Office, USAG Chievres, Belgium, supporting Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers

Europe, and program analyst in the Business Management Office, US Army

Garrison Kwajalein, Marshall Islands.

Mr. Kirkland is a graduate of the University of Alabama. He is certified in Program

Management and has completed post-graduate studies at the Naval Post Graduate

School, Monterey, California. He is the recipient of several awards including the

Superior Civilian Service Award and the Commander's Award for Civilian Service.
