Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has acknowledged the presence of a small number of NATO soldiers in Ukraine. According to Tusk, the alliance is assisting Kyiv to the extent possible.

“Well, there are a few troops, soldiers there. There are a few soldiers. Observers, engineers,” he added, without specifying which countries’ military personnel and how many are in Ukraine.

At the same time, the Polish Prime Minister emphasized the need to avoid direct NATO involvement in the military conflict in Ukraine. According to Tusk, the alliance is assisting Kyiv to the extent possible.

Also today, NATO Secretary-General Stoltenberg stated that the alliance has no intention of deploying troops to Ukraine.
