President Biden announced plans for Microsoft to build a $3.3 billion data center in southeastern Wisconsin, contrasting sharply with his predecessor’s scaled-back project, The Washington Post reported.

The new investment promises to create thousands of jobs in Wisconsin, a crucial battleground state for Biden’s reelection campaign. This development comes after a previous $10 billion project by Foxconn, endorsed by Trump, faced significant downsizing.

During his visit to Gateway Technical College, Biden emphasized the transformative impact of Microsoft’s investment, both locally and globally. He criticized Trump’s unfulfilled promises, contrasting them with his administration’s commitment to delivering on its pledges.
