Issa Haddad, a participant in a violent uprising at Christ The Good Shepherd Church in Wakeley, engaged in aggressive behavior towards journalists outside Fairfield Local Court. Admitting his involvement in the riot, Haddad’s sentencing was adjourned as he covered his face with a hoodie and gestured obscenely at waiting reporters, 9news reported.

In a display of disdain, Haddad spat at journalists and physically assaulted one before being apprehended by police. The incident occurred following the stabbing of Assyrian bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel and priest Isaac Royel during a live-streamed church service, escalating into a riot involving around 2000 people.

Haddad’s actions were captured on video, with his distinctive tattoos aiding in his identification, emphasizing the severity of his role in the chaotic events outside the church.
