In the German city of Göttingen, one person died and several others were injured in a night fire at a social institution, according to Spiegel.

The fire broke out at night in a nursing home in Göttingen. As a result, one of the residents of the facility died and another suffered serious burns. Two people were affected by toxic smoke, but their lives are not in danger.

By morning, the fire was extinguished, and efforts to ventilate and restore order are ongoing. The causes of the accident are still unknown.

Recall that last week in Berlin, a large-scale fire occurred at a metal processing plant. Residents were warned about toxic smoke, but serious air pollution did not occur.
