Former President Donald Trump, exiting the courtroom after Day 12 of his hush money trial in Manhattan state court, voiced confidence in his defense team’s performance, ABC News reported.

Despite the prosecution’s projection of wrapping up their case in two weeks, Trump criticized the timeline, accusing the government of prolonging the trial to keep him away from campaign activities.

Trump expressed discontent with the judge’s handling of the case, particularly regarding the gag order that restricts his speech and subjects him to potential jail time for violations.
