A 39-year-old resident of Wałcz (Poland) was detained by the police on suspicion of possessing a significant amount of amphetamine, RMF24 reports. The man claimed that over 300 grams of the psychoactive substance were intended solely for his own use.

According to police information, the drugs were found in an outbuilding belonging to the suspect. Despite the man’s claims that the amphetamine was meant only for his personal use, law enforcement deemed his explanations not credible enough. As a result, the man was charged with possession of a significant quantity of psychotropic substances and their distribution.

Following interrogation, the court decided to place the suspect in three-month pre-trial detention. He faces a sentence of up to 10 years in prison for the committed crime.
