The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) released the visitor figures at the 31st edition of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), a leading travel and tourism event held in Dubai. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, expressed his optimism about the industry's continued growth, stating that the first quarter's figures position Dubai for another outstanding year.
Dubai's hotel sector has also benefited from the influx of tourists. With a room occupancy rate of 83% in the first quarter, Dubai's hotels have maintained a healthy performance despite a 2% increase in total room supply.
