In Estonia, large-scale military exercises called “Spring Storm” are starting on Monday, which will last until May 17 in the western part of the country and on the islands, according to Estonian broadcaster ERR. The exercises will be divided into several stages. From May 6 to 12, units will be formed and cooperation will be practiced.

From May 13 to 17 in Western Estonia, including the islands, the main training battles will take place. About 14,000 participants from 15 countries will be involved in the exercises, including from Canada, Germany, Denmark, Finland, France, Poland, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

This year, “Spring Storm” is for the first time involving the local population in exercises to raise awareness of dangers. Local residents will receive SMS messages instructing them to take shelter.

It is worth noting that NATO Arrow 24 exercises are currently ongoing in Finland, involving nearly 500 pieces of equipment and around 2600 military personnel, as well as foreign servicemen.
