US presidential candidate Donald Trump drew a historical parallel between the Biden administration and the Nazi secret police. According to American media reports, the former US president made such an analogy while speaking at a closed fundraiser at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
American media specify that the comparison of the Biden administration to the Nazis was part of a long tirade by Trump. In it, he insisted that the current government is behind the four criminal cases against him, seeing criminal prosecution as the “only way to win.”
He also noted that Biden is the most corrupt and worst president in US history.
The Gestapo secret state police existed during Adolf Hitler’s regime from 1933 to 1945. Gestapo officers were involved in repression against Hitler’s political opponents and participated in the persecution and destruction of Jews.
The presidential elections in the United States will take place in November. Donald Trump’s opponent in them will be the current President of the United States, Joe Biden.
