In the Polish capital Warsaw, there was a car accident involving a BMW, resulting in the deaths of two citizens of Ukraine and one from Belarus, RMF24 reports.

The BMW crashed into a tree and caught fire. Firefighters were working at the scene. Traffic on the adjacent street was blocked for several hours.

Even before the arrival of the fire brigade, other drivers tried to fight the fire with their own car fire extinguishers, but the flames were too strong. According to local prosecutors, three men died as a result of the accident. Most likely, two of them were Ukrainians, and one was Belarusian.

Preliminary conclusions made at the scene indicate that the cause of the accident was speeding and, as a result, loss of control of the vehicle. The case will be investigated as manslaughter due to negligence and causing a fatal traffic accident.
