Four Americans are facing charges in Turks and Caicos for possessing 33 rounds of ammunition. The individuals identified as Michael Lee Evans, Bryan Hagerich, Tyler Scott Wenrich, and Ryan Tyler Watson were collectively charged last week, Associated Press reported.

The families of the accused Americans insist that their loved ones are unjustly detained. Last week, Hagerich and Evans pleaded guilty to the charges laid against them.

Transporting firearms or ammunition to or from Caribbean Community (CARICOM) countries like Turks and Caicos without a license is illegal. The United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives warns travelers about this on its website.
