Brooke Shields has starred in a ton of movies — but getting to film with a fully naked Benjamin Bratt was the “best day” of her life, she told The View.

The actress stopped by this morning’s episode of the long-running daytime talk show to promote her new Netflix movie Mother of the Bride, in which she plays a mom who travels to her daughter’s wedding only to find out the groom’s father is one of her ex-boyfriends.

In a hilarious clip from the movie, Shields’ character walks in on a naked Bratt as he comes out of the shower, leaving her bumbling and flustered as he covers his junk with a fedora.

“That was the best day of my life!” Shields recalled of filming the scene with the hunky actor, joking, “I just kept messing up and messing up. I was like, ‘I think I need another one.'”

Jokes aside, Shields explained why she felt bad for Bratt, who wore a “modesty sock” to cover up in the scene.

“For the person who’s usually been on the other side of worrying about being taped into their clothes, I had such empathy for him and sadness for myself that it wasn’t that he had that damn sock on,” she quipped. “The sweet side of it was, he was vulnerable, it was very sweet.”

When it came time to film Shields’ reaction in the scene, she came up with a hilarious prank.

“They had to reverse and do my side. I was like, ‘God, I feel like this is so unfair,'” she said. “So as a surprise to him, I taped my boobs with those sticky tape things and right as he turned around, I dropped my dress to [my waist] just so that he didn’t feel like he was the only one.”

She continued, “He came to me after. He was like, ‘I cannot thank you so much. I was feeling so vulnerable.'”

Behar then chimed in as she tried (and failed) to point out the difference between men and women.

“See? This is women having empathy. When has a man dropped his trou when a woman appears naked in front of him?” she asked, to which the co-hosts, in unison, replied, “Every time!”

Behar concluded, “OK, I take it back.”
