In northern Pakistan, a accident occurred when a bus veered off the road and plunged into a rocky ravine on Friday. According to authorities, the driver lost control of the bus, resulting in the deaths of at least 15 people and leaving over 20 others with serious injuries, as reported by AP.

The incident took place as the bus was en route to Hunza along the Karakoram Highway in Gilgit-Baltistan’s Diamer district. Fayaz Ahmed, a senior police officer, provided details of the accident.

The Karakoram Highway, which winds through the mountains, serves as a vital link between Pakistan and China. Hunza, renowned for its scenic beauty, attracts numerous tourists, especially during the warmer seasons.
