Telegraph Fantasy Football: Game Week 36 insights

Five in a row for the Toffees

Sean Dyche’s men have now kept five home clean sheets on the spin, delighting Telegraph Fantasy Football managers who hold budget assets like Jarrad Branthwaite (£2.2m). Looking ahead to the start of next season, it’s likely their defence will get serious consideration when picking starting XIs.

Gvardiol’s new attacking role

The centre-back-come-marauding-left-back has six attacking returns in his last six games, amassing 58 points in the process. Still owned by less than 10% of managers, and with two games to play including the FA Cup final, it’s not too late for new acquirers.

Toney’s run of blanks

It’s 11 blanks in a row now for the out-of-sorts striker. Once a strong consideration as a ‘season keeper’, the forward finds himself in only 2% of teams.

Telegraph Fantasy Football Tips: Game Week 37

The Telegraph Fantasy Football player list has been analysed ahead of the upcoming games and these look like the best players to transfer in:

1. Mo Salah (£7.2m)

Klopp’s last game in charge of Liverpool sees an out-of-form Wolves side travel to Anfield where his star forward can take advantage. Many managers will have moved the Egyptian on to accommodate Erling Haaland’s return, so he could offer up a great differential.

2. Michael Olise (£3.7m)

It’s two attacking returns in each of his last two for the Eagles winger. Aston Villa travel to Selhurst Park having already cemented Champions League qualification, and with Palace’s recent form, the 22-year-old looks primed for more goal involvements.

3. Leandro Trossard (£4.4m)

The midfielder has four goals in his last five games as Arsenal host an Everton side who usually prefer home comforts. As the lowest-owned of the Gunners’ attacking players, it’s a perfect left-field choice for those chasing down mini-league leaders.
