Johnny Depp is coming back to the big-screen in the historical drama, Jeanne du Barry, marking his first film since the now-infamous defamation case against his ex-wife Amber Heard back in 2022.
Based on a true story, Jeanne du Barry follows a young working-class woman named Jeanne Vaubernier (Maïwenn) who falls madly in love with King Louis XV (Depp). Their romance, however, sparks scandal within the Court, which will not accept the mistress into their world.
